Prepare the information a provider will ask for
If timing matters, prepare the details that can affect dispatch before you call: location, requested dates, project or event type, access conditions, and the equipment you think you need. The rental provider can then confirm what is actually available.
For requests in Mississippi, use the city and service-area section on this page to narrow the location and when ZIP information helps identify the site. Rental availability can vary by address, date and equipment, so share the exact location when calling.
Make placement part of the rental decision
Choose a placement area that a roll-off truck can approach and leave safely. Driveway strength, surface slope, parked vehicles, gates, branches, wires, tight turns and other obstacles can affect delivery. Do not assume a container can be placed on a street or other public area; ask the rental provider what location details need to be checked before delivery.
Before pickup, keep the access path open and make sure material stays within the provider's loading rules. If the container may need to be moved, swapped or removed earlier than planned, ask how much notice is needed.
Ask what happens during the rental
Confirm delivery timing, pickup arrangements and any servicing that may occur while the units are on site. For longer rentals, ask how to report a unit that needs attention and whether schedule changes require advance notice.
Inventory can change by date and location, especially around large events or busy construction periods. Share your preferred dates and acceptable alternatives, then ask the provider to confirm the exact equipment and service plan before you commit.
More helpful information
Choose by the job, not by a generic package
For waste removal, focus on material type, estimated volume, heavy items, placement and truck access. For portable sanitation, focus on expected users, duration, accessibility, servicing and the path a service vehicle can use. If you need both, ask whether the same provider can coordinate the schedules or whether they are handled separately.
